Explanation:

We use Boyle Mariotte's law: for a given mass of gas at constant temperature, the pressure and volume vary inversely proportionally. We convert the unit of volume in ml into L:  250/1000= 0,250 L

P1xV1=P2xV2

V2= (P1xV1)/V2=(0,97 atm x 0,250 L)/1,05 atm =0,23 L
