John locke believed that the experiences that we experience through our five senses shaped humanity. He believed that humans are born as blank tablets and that humans are not inherently bad or evil. Thomas Hobbes believed that humans are born brutish and violent. That if they are not subjected by a ruler then their nature of violence would mean warfare.
